BY ROAD FROM MANCHESTER AND THE NORTH (M6) M 6 J.31 (ignore Blackburn M65 earlier exit) A 59 Blackburn A 677 straight on towards Blackburn at Trafalgar Swallow hotel junction A 6119 Blackburn ring road dual carriageway off up the hill to the left Through a set of traffic lights and past Blackburn rugby club on the left Through another set of lights with Knowles Arms pub on the right Keep in the left-hand lane and bear left at a major traffic light junction and follow signs for Ramsgreave & Wilpshire train station on the A 666 After half a mile through a parade of shops & car dealerships, we are on the left-hand side by the traffic lights cross roads directly in front of the railway station BY ROAD FROM THE NORTH-EAST A 59 from Yorkshire passing Clitheroe A 666 towards Blackburn through Langho and Wilpshire Half a mile after Wilpshire Golf Club and traffic lights by the Wilpshire Hotel pub, we are on the right-hand side sitting at the next set of lights with the car park to the side on just before the building itself BY ROAD FROM WEST YORKSHIRE AND THE M 62 M 66 from M 62 A 56 towards Blackburn and Burnley Follow directions to M 65 M 65 J.8 towards Blackburn Exit at J.6 and follow signs to Preston and Clitheroe Follow A 6119 dual carriageway ring road through car dealerships and past the Peel retail park Through five sets of lights in total, at sixth, bear right following signs to Clitheroe and Ramsgreave & Wilpshire railway station on A 666 After half a mile through a parade of shops & car dealerships, we are on the left-hand side by the traffic lights cross roads directly in front of the railway station BY TRAIN FROM MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE & AIRPORT/BOLTON/CLITHEROE Trains leave Manchester Victoria exactly on the hour from 1700 hours calling at: Salford Central, Bolton , Darwen & Blackburn en route to Ramsgreave & Wilpshire (next stop after Blackburn ) which is directly behind the Bull's Head The journey time is a little under an hour from Victoria Return journeys to Manchester are at hourly intervals either just before the hour, or just after - the last one being at 23.02
